Camera Operator
Being behind the camera is where MacK feels most at home. Working with the Director and DP on executing the desired shot is second nature. MacK also has a lot of technical knowledge. Working at an equipment house and working on a set, MacK has worked with cameras ranging from the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera to ARRI Alexas. Steadicam Operator
MacK is a certified Steadicam Operator since 2019 but has been operating since 2017. He has worked on multiple projects as a Steadi Op which ranges from music videos to narrative films. Director of Photography
The Director of Photography (DP) is one of the most important roles on a film set. MacK has been a DP for multiple projects and delivers a unique cinematic style for every film. Of his most recent films, Kingdom (2021) was shot so that all the cuts are hidden. This lead to a lot of unique challenges while filming and careful pre-production planning. Assistant
Camera
Pulling focus is one of the most taken-for-granted positions in film. It takes a subtle touch and someone who has experience to get it right. MacK has experience as a focus puller and camera assistant, making sure the camera operator and the DP have nothing to worry about. MacK has experience pulling on a traditional follow focus and a wireless follow focus. Check out the camera assistant gallery above!
Camera PA & Digital Utility
MacK started by working as a Camera PA. Making sure that the camera team had everything that they needed on had to get the perfect image for the show.
