A Bit About Me
I’m MacK Vance, a Steadicam and Camera Operator based in Greenville with over 8+ years of experience working on feature films, commercials, music videos, and short films. I’m a proud member of the Steadicam Operators Association (SOA), the Society of Camera Operators (SOC)(Associate Member), and IATSE Local 600 (International Cinematographers Guild).
On set, I’m known for being calm under pressure, quick to adapt, and always focused on helping directors and DPs get the best shot possible. Off set, I work as a manager at ShotDeck.com, collaborating with top industry professionals like Lawrence Sher, ASC (Joker, The Hangover Trilogy, Garden State), which keeps me constantly inspired and sharp.
Whether I’m balancing a rig for a high-energy action scene or tracking a quiet character moment, I’m passionate about using camera movement to serve your story.
